Our team raises a fantastic amount for Cancer Research
Each year our employees bring along some delicious cakes and bakes to the Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Research Fund.
Not only is this for a good cause it’s also a chance for us all to sample some of the baking talents of our hard-working staff. As you can see from the photos there were some wonderful indulgent treats on offer and as a company we raised a fantastic £376.50 towards cancer research.
The star baker and best cake award went to our Sewing Machinist Jackie Ruane for her chocolate marble ring cake which went down a treat for anyone who was lucky enough to get a piece! Pam Sharpe, also from the sewing room, won the raffle and took home a Mary accent chair!
